Enjoy a beautifully restored 15th Century Stone House in a Tuscany Borgo

The House

Sitting in the heart of Sogna overlooking the central “square”, this three bedroom apartment features traditional stone construction with old style terra cotta flooring, stucco walls and wooden beams. The house has three outdoor sitting areas to enjoy different views.

The Community

Sitting on a hilltop, Sogna was restored by renowned architect Fulvio Di Rosa in 1989-94. Di Rosa was committed to preserving the ancient community’s look and feel. Mostly owned by Europeans, this car-free community of 19 apartments has a shared pool and tennis court; it is surrounded by deciduous forest and small olive and fruit orchards.

Sogna is just a ten minutes drive to Ambra, a lively small community with restaurants, markets and cafes. The Tuscan countryside has a wealth of towns to explore, restaurants to try and backroads where you can safely walk or bike. Depending on the direction you choose, it is only 35 minutes to Siena; the Chianti villages are just 45 minutes and Florence, the prize of them all, is only 75 minutes.
